Compagnia dell'Arabica Guatemala - Huehuetenango Highland Coffee - The Presidium coffee used in single origin was cultivated and processed by Cooperativa Esquipulas RL Huehuetenango.
The territory of Huehuetenango, in the northwest part of Guatemala, on the border with Mexico, has an altitude ranging from 850 to 3700 meters and offers an extraordinary variety of ecosystems (from the subtropical humid forest to the pine forests). Located at the foot of the Cuchumatanes, the highest non-volcanic mountain range in Central America, Huehuetenango is one of the country's most coffee-growing areas. There are several crus in the area of Huehuetenango, each due to the morphological and microclimatic characteristics of the valleys in which the communities involved in the project are located. The characteristics that unite the coffee of this area are a full body and a good acidity. The cup is balanced and aromatic, with floral, citrus and chocolate notes.
